Payment

Sophie Scott-Lewis accepts the following forms of payment:
- Bank transfer

Sophie Scott-Lewis will not begin work on an order until payment has been received in full.

Once payment has been received, Sophie Scott-Lewis will dispatch completed orders within fourteen working days.

For large orders including a substantial amount of bespoke design work e.g. bespoke portraits, the dispatch date will be negotiated with the customer upon confirmation of order.

Postage will be negotiated at point of sale.

Payment for postage and packaging is for second class postage (on all orders below £50), within the UK, unless otherwise agreed with Sophie Scott-Lewis. In the event the customer requires first class postage, special postage, or postage overseas, Sophie Scott-Lewis will add a surcharge to the total order cost. The customer must advise Sophie Scott-Lewis of this upon ordering.

In the event a customer returns a purchase from Sophie Scott-Lewis, the customer is liable for the postage costs for returning the item.

Returns

In the event an item arrives with the customer and is damaged, the customer will contact Sophie Scott-Lewis within 24 hours of receipt of the package, outlining the issues with the order.

Copyright and Ownership

Unless otherwise stated, the contents of the website Sophie Scott-Lewis, including, but not limited to: text, graphics, logos and images, are the property of Sophie Scott-Lewis and are protected by UK copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, republish, upload, post or distribute any element of this website without the prior express written permission from Sophie Scott-Lewis.

Any design or illustration created for the customer by Sophie Scott-Lewis is licensed for use by the customer on a one-time only basis and may not be modified, re-used, or re-distributed in any way or form without the express written permission of Sophie Scott-Lewis. Copyright of all artwork remains with the artist and should not be reproduced unless written permission is granted by Sophie Scott-Lewis.

In the event the customer wishes to use the design for an additional purpose, the customer shall contact Sophie Scott-Lewis to negotiate additional licencing.

For additional details on licencing, please refer to the associated contract for each project.

Images of commissioned designs may be used to promote Sophie Scott-Lewis after the design completion date.

Confidentiality

Sophie Scott-Lewis will keep all information received from the customer confidential.

Contact details for the customer will not be shared with any third parties, and will only be used by Sophie Scott-Lewis for marketing updates.

Sophie Scott-Lewis retains all copyright on designs and illustrations unless otherwise negotiated with the customer at the time of order.

Governing Laws
